COVID-19 Safety Information

Please see below for safety advice and special measures regarding our Botany Bay and Bawtry Forest sites.

As a COVID-compliant permitted business we are delighted to be allowed to open on Saturday 21st November 2020.

Please read the COVID information below to ensure you and your family are able to enjoy your visit to Bawtry Forest Christmas Trees safely.

Market

Arriving at Bawtry Forest Christmas Trees

Market stall
  • Please keep your group size to a minimum.
  • Please scan the NHS Track & Trace QR poster on entry.
  • For hygiene reasons, we recommend visitors wear gloves.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser stations provided if gloves are not worn.
  • We strongly recommend all visitors to wear masks while picking a tree.
  • To reduce queuing, a tree Pick-and-Go option will be available at the Bawtry Forest site, for those not wanting to browse the Christmas shop.
  • Face coverings MUST be worn inside the Christmas shop.

General Safety Measures

Christmas goods
  • Cleaning procedures have been increased throughout our venues.
  • There is a hand sanitiser station as you enter, and throughout our venue – please use them.
  • Anti-bacterial hand wash will be available for use in our welfare block – please use it.
  • There are increased cleaning regimes in our Christmas Shop and toilets block.
  • Our on-site café will serve hot and cold food for take-away only.

  • Please consider your own safety and the safety of others before attending Bawtry Forest Christmas Trees. Please do not visit if you feel unwell.
  • Anyone with an underlying health issue, or who has contact with someone with an underlying health issue that puts them at a higher risk from COVID-19 should not visit our venues.
  • Anyone experiencing symptoms associated with coronavirus (COVID-19) SHOULD NOT ATTEND. To protect other visitors and our staff; if your temperature is above 38C, or you are displaying symptoms of coronavirus please stay at home.
  • Any visitors who do not adhere to the extra safety measures put in place, or who fail to consider other visitors or staff in a safe and courteous manner will be asked to leave.
